Shrewsbury, situated in the loop of the River Severn, is steeped in history. The birthplace of Charles Darwin, its skyline is dominated by its many church spires, the Market Hall and Shrewsbury Castle. It has a great café culture, where bars and restaurants are nestled in between black and white buildings, open spaces, and stretch along the banks of the River Severn.
